South China’s Zhuhai airport cargo port tops 15,000 tons in first year_我的网站

一 |     (ECNS) -- Zhuhai Airport’s international cargo port in South China’s Guangdong Province has handled over 15,000 metric tons of international air cargo in the first year since it was temporarily opened to international freight operations, according to its operator Zhuhai Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd. on Thursday.    The port has launched eight routes to Southeast Asia and South Asia, including Hanoi, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, with more than 70 weekly flights. Over half the cargo comes from ecommerce and manufacturing hubs in Dongguan and Foshan.    Officials said the port complements the Greater Bay Area’s airport cluster and will expand flights to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South Asia to build a “four-hour logistics circle” in the region.        (By Tang Yuxian)                        。    (ECNS) -- As of Friday, the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project's has transferred over 80 billion cubic meters of water to northern regions, benefiting nearly 118 million people, the Ministry of Water Resources, data released on Friday showed.    People from 27 large and medium-sized cities including Henan, Hebei, Tianjin and Beijing, and 243 counties are supplied with quality water by the middle route.     Put into operation nearly 12 years ago, the middle route has played a key role in optimizing water resource allocation and restoration, securing drinking water safety for local residents, and facilitating north-south economic circulation.
